Pro Floor Services specializes in inspecting floor covering problems and finding solutions to solve the problem.
There are numerous things that can go wrong with your flooring including being sold the wrong floor for your needs to having it installed improperly.
There are also the cases where the product is defective or cannot simply perform the duty that it was intended to perform.
Of course, there are also plenty of maintenance factors that can come into play.
We can address all kinds of concerns and offer solutions for many different situations.
We use industry standards and scientific testing and principles to arrive at the REAL answers.
On many occasions manufacturers have replaced defective or problematic flooring based upon the findings of our inspections.
The ONLY way to know for sure is to have a qualified industry specialist evaluate your case.
Every situation is different and each installation is unique.
Pro Floor Services is certified by the IICRC for "Substrate and Subfloor Inspection". We are also certified by the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) for conducting testing on concrete floors before they receive floor coverings. We are an independent third party for doing calcium chloride and in-situ relative humidity testing of concrete substrates. All floor covering manufacturers state that concrete substrates MUST be tested for moisture and alkalinity regardless of the age or grade level, before the installation of flooring. If you expect the manufacturer to warrant their products, you better follow their rules (not suggestions) for installation.
Pro Floor Services tests and certifies concrete substrates before the finished floor coverings are installed. Some of our customers include Bed, Bath, & Beyond, Toys R Us, Ross Dress for Less, Christmas Tree Shops, Staples, Best Buy, WalMart, Petco, Giant Eagle Grocery Stores, Polo, and numerous school districts and government agencies.
An independent third party performing and certifying the test results is the best way to guarantee the accuracy and acceptability of the results.
Often we have done inspections of failed flooring installations in which the retailer or installer performed their own tests. In every case it was found that the tests were not done to ASTM standards and the results were invalid. The flooring manufacturers will not guarantee their products if they are improperly installed.
These are some before and after pictures of carpet color repairs. The homeowner had damaged her new carpet less than a month after it had been installed. When she called the manufacturer for advice, they sent her to Pro Floor Services. We can repair many problems with your flooring.
David Horan is trained and certified to do many types of floor covering repairs. For some products and types of repairs, he is the one who teaches the courses and trains other flooring professionals on doing repairs.
We are certified as Color Repair Technicians and also Repair and Reinstallation Technicians by the IICRC.
We are certified by Shaw Industries for Color Corrections.
Some things simply cannot be repaired. We use our years of experience to save you time, money, and aggravation.
One way to avoid costly repairs is to make sure the installation requirements are met before starting the job. ALL flooring manufacturers require pre-installation testing.
